Coming August 2027
We will be Launching Our Pilot Program at Living the Dream University
We are thrilled to announce that Living the Dream University (LDU) will launch its pilot program in August 2027.
This inaugural cohort will begin a long-term vision: building a fully immersive post-secondary experience tailored to our learners' needs, strengths, and dreams.
THEC Authorization Disclosure
Living the Dream University (LTDU) is currently seeking authorization from the Tennessee Higher Education Commission (THEC) to operate as a postsecondary educational institution in Tennessee, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated § 49-7-2001 et seq.
Important Notice:
-
LTDU is not accepting student applications or enrollment until authorization from THEC has been granted.
- LTDU is accepting staff applications and is actively hiring faculty and administrative personnel in preparation for future operations.
This authorization is governed by the Tennessee Higher Education Authorization Act of 2016, codified in Tennessee Code Annotated § 49-7-2001 et seq. As part of this process, we are required to provide prospective students with specific disclosures, including information about the transferability of credits earned at our institution.
In compliance with Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1540-01-02-.13, we will provide a Transferability of Credit Disclosure Statement to all prospective students prior to signing any enrollment agreement. This statement will inform students that credits earned at our institution may not transfer to other educational institutions, and credits earned at other institutions may not be accepted by our institution. Students are strongly advised to confirm the transferability of credits before enrolling.
Additionally, as required by Tenn. Code Ann. § 49-7-2006, we are committed to meeting minimum standards concerning the quality of education, ethical business practices, and fiscal responsibility.
Please note that authorization from THEC does not imply endorsement of the institution; it confirms that the institution has met the minimum standards required by Tennessee law for postsecondary education.

Meet Zed
Hey Dreamers! It’s me, Zed the Zebra, your official Living the Dream University mascot!
I’m here to bring energy, encouragement, and a whole lot of stripes to LTDU! You might be wondering why I’m such a cool mascot. Well, let me tell you!
First, my stripes aren’t just for show. Every stripe represents the unique strengths and stories of our amazing students. No two zebras are alike, and that’s what makes us special, just like how no two Dreamers are the same! I stand for inclusion, teamwork, and perseverance. Zebras always stick together in their herd, and at Living the Dream University, we do the same, supporting one another, learning together, and celebrating every victory, big or small. And let’s not forget my favorite part, spreading positivity and joy! With my LTDU colors of blue and gold, I’m here to remind everyone to shine bright, stay strong, and keep chasing those dreams. So, whether you’re studying, teaching, or just cheering from the sidelines, remember, we’re all in this together. Let’s show the world what it means to Live the Dream!
